Sylvie is a multiple award-winning Pan-Africanist, Human Rights Activist, Artist, and Feminist whose work currently focuses on dismantling historical injustices against Africa (Colonisation, slave trade, and racism) and demand for reparatory justice. As a multimedia artist (Videographer, Photographer, and theatre practitioner), she uses her talents and skills to enhance her activism while supporting institutions to visualize and humanize issues of global concern, putting people at the heart of the change we want. She has led one of the world’s biggest and most successful social media campaigns (BBC), which has become a global footprint and best practice case study for the ongoing restitution conversation in Africa and Europe. She is the founder of REGARTLESS, an org promoting Art and Culture. Sylvie has also served as a Multimedia Producer for UN Agencies such as the WHO African Regional Office for Africa and WFP HQ, supporting several advocacies, campaigns, emergencies, and events.
